Bonnie Buzek is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station and is now enrolled in the Michael E. DeBakey Combined Master’s Degree – Dietetic Internship in Houston, Texas. She received the Mid East Dietetic Association Scholarship and a Corporate Statewide Raffle Scholarship. The raffle scholarship funds were raised from the 2006 TDAF Raffle ticket sales.

Maria Chang attends the University of Texas Health Science Center and was awarded the Dr. Helen Lane Nutrition Research Endowed Scholarship and a Corporate Statewide Raffle Scholarship. Those scholarship funds were raised from the 2006 TDAF Statewide Raffle ticket sales.

Alisa Dusan

Alisa Schuknecht (Dusan) is a student from University of Texas, Austin. She was awarded the Austin Dietetic Association Scholarship and also receive a Corporate Statewide Raffle Scholarship. The funds for the latter were raised from the 2006 raffle ticket sales.

Nicole Fernandes is a student from Texas Woman’s University. She was awarded the Betty Alford Endowed Scholarship and the North Texas Dietetic Association Scholarship.

Misty Fitch is a student at the University of Texas School of Public Health, Houston. She received the Houston Area Dietetic Association Endowed Scholarship and a Corporate Statewide Raffle Scholarship. The raffle scholarship funds were raised from the 2006 TDAF Raffle ticket sales.

Sonia Garza is a student from Texas A&M University, College Station. She was awarded a Big Hat Scholarship. The Big Hat Scholarship is a result of donations made during a passing of the hat at TDA FNCE each year.
